idimension has partnered with clients to provide sms order shipping notifications. Ordering customers can elect to receive an SMS message with their shipping tracking number when their order ships. Client sites send destination mobile number and the intended message to idimension systems via a web service. idimension delivers the SMS either immediately, or at an included delivery date/time - and then tracks delivery receipts & manages unsubscribe requests.
