Kiwanis fulfills club support supplies orders all over the globe. Orders from clubs are received via the Kiwanis store web site, and also over the phone at the Kiwanis call center.
Kiwanis tasked iDimension to create a system that could support both autonomous web orders and call center agent entered orders – all passed seamlessly to their order fulfillment center, while handling credit card information in a PCI compliant manner. Order types include a multitude of items with personalized copy, bulk orders in support of trade shows, back orders, and drop shipments. Payment types include credit card, check, and on account.
iDimension employed a custom ColdFusion-based ecommerce solution. The call center agents process orders & returns via an Adobe AIR application that caches user account data in a local data store to streamline order processing. All order & return data is passed as XML to an order fulfillment facility; all credit card processing is executed via the Payflow Payment Gateway.
