Syniverse leverages Salesforce to manage their sales process, and their web site is the communication hub of all marketing efforts – with all prospects being funneled to a website lead form.

Syniverse relied on iDimension to efficiently pass web leads to their Salesforce account, and to measure the success of marketing efforts relative to the lead conversion goal using Google Analytics.

iDimension leveraged the Salesforce API to push leads into Salesforce from a dynamic, ColdFusion-powered web site.   The Lead ID returned by the Salesforce API was then set as a Google Analytics custom variable in the lead’s browser.  In CMS reporting iDimension called the Salesforce API to present the status & owner for the lead from Salesforce, as well as calling the Google Analytics API to show site activity for the lead for the last 30 days (relative to the custom variable Lead ID).

When the lead is “converted” in Salesforce, upon return to the site an additional custom variable is written to the new “customer’s” browser with this information – giving full circle to the lead management data available for reporting in Google Analytics.

iDimension‘s solution allowed Syniverse to efficiently manage sales leads, as well as intelligently manage marketing efforts based on what works.
